D\u00e9corisk invites interior designers, journalists, architects and content writers to join our editorial team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Internship program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be 90 day long internship at Shilpa Ahuja Media where you would learn how to research, create high-quality work, SEO and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interns will have the option to select their own topics to work on from a given pool of ideas, and will be able to create work under the guidance of our team. Our team will give them a step-by-step approach on how to create work suitable for a world-class digital publication, and help them improve it. Interns will also have the opportunity to give each other feedback on their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll be required to work part-time (3-6 hours per day). Timings are flexible &amp; days off may be granted for schoolwork or personal days. Please download the detailed Internship program here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/decorisk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/22-11-07-Internship-Program-Details.pdf\">22-11-07 &#8211; D\u00e9corisk Internship Program Details<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The duties of Interior Journalist Intern include creating and publishing content, article writing, editing and proofreading, working on content strategies with the editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit and build upon articles by guest authors, freelancers and\/or interns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curate and create impactful visuals &amp; infographics that illustrate content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write articles on interiors, vastu, home d\u00e9cor, furniture &amp; accessories, lifestyle, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curate news in the field of interiors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brainstorm with team members to develop new content ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEO of new and existing articles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drafting articles on WordPress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>0-2 years of experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students (3<sup>rd<\/sup> or final year) in interior design, architecture, B.Ed, M.Ed, Arts, Humanities or literature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well-read and active on social media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opinionated and bold in articulating their thoughts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good command over English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should be a good time manager, and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enthusiastic and willing to take responsibility for the website\u2019s complete content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills required\/preferred<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Article writing &amp; research, content writing for the internet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication\/email\/interviewing skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEO, Keyword mining, trend research,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WordPress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of graphic\/image editing software, like Photoshop or similar online tools is required, and a graphic design skill is highly preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photography is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reporting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our office is located in Vadodara, Gujarat. Our office hours are 10am to 6pm. This is a remote work from home internship with flexible hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stipend &amp; Certificate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Stipend is incentive based, depending on published articles (not submitted drafts). For publication, interns are responsible for completion of their articles including SEO, editing, revision &amp; imagery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interns will get the opportunity to get their work published on D\u00e9corisk.com or other websites of our parent company, if it meets the journalistic quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive written feedback from our team members to help you improve your work.
